So…. Did Lee Child really get involved here? I don’t believe he did. The guy retired! Leave him to it. I also have no interest in Cousin It or whatever. Wait for a great writer to write Reacher. I’m sure Andrew is good. Whatever. But I have no interest in Enter the Dragon 2 starring Bruce Li.

Very, very few authors have successfully maintained the quality of work of the original author. The Jack Reacher series has come to an end for me.

Thank you prefere the jeff harding narration to Scott bricks as for the negative comments above they are not needed if you don’t like the books now don’t listen to them it’s as easy as that I and a lot of others still do

Agree with the Jeff Harding narration, I think when we fall for a writers tale the narrator builds a picture of the characters, which is probably slightly different for us all, but regardless, it becomes like a pair of comfortable slippers that have had better days, but you still love them, the same happens with many serial books, and I do find it irritating when a different narrator takes over, it takes the edge off the sparkle. regardless, love the series still so fwarrp to the haters

You get used to a reader and thats an instant marriage with the character. I need Harding. Can I have a recording of him just talking about the weather? That would be Reacher for me :)

Jeff harding reads like everything is a question with an up inflection at the end of a sent. I cannot in hear it and it drives me insane.
The file is perfect though so thanks.

EXACTLY!!!! Made the book unlistenable for me. It was too much with the question inflection. UGH. Guess I’ll have to read the book like a caveman ;)

Less believable than the older novels, and noticed a fair number of UK idioms and phrases have crept in.
For me, the fight scenes were more gratuitous and perfunctory as he worked his way through the numerous opponents. Also at a few plot points I was asking what were the chances?
