I love this series, as a native of Cork City myself I never could have imagined my home town hid such gruesome and depraved acts of evil, it’s a great comfort to know Katie Maguire is working hard to keep me safe at night :)

I’m enjoying these very much, so many thanks to Seniorshack.
Something I’m curious about, though —
In “Red Light” (book 3) we meet Detective Sergeant ó Nuallán. In “Taken For Dead” (book 4) she has suddenly become Ni Nuallán. Does this denote some change of status or circumstances, or is it simply another way of saying the same thing ?
