Ok I was short with you… my bad
No. Mp3 or video files are not self executing programs but just data files, so even if a virus puts it code inside them, they would stay harmless. If a virus alters such a file, it will most likely get corrupt and will not play or partially play in your media player software.
Hope that helps and maybe get in touch with your AV provider or get rid of the free one as they are set [paid to that’s why they are free] to block most torrents

Avast found no issues, and it was uploaded by a prolific user… I wouldn’t be too worried.

You might get something weird if you click one of the ad links “Direct/Fast” download. Though I think they just ask you to subscribe to their service.
The real “Torrent download” or Magnet link is perfectly benign, and MP3s cannot infect you with virus.
