  Jessicado thank you very much for these. I wasn’t familiar with this series.

  Would you be able to get the first book “The Dirty Streets of Heaven”? SophieNY has it here but unfortunately it is in two large files over 8 hours each, and Slice Audio File Splitter doesn’t support the file (not sure which is is.)

  I have been listening to the large file, but falling asleep and then finding my place is a real struggle.

  Dirty streets of heaven is the first of this series. I just finished the first one and I could barely put it down (so to speak). If you like listening to audiobooks while you lay down to sleep, you MUST get an audiobook player. Android has many different ones but I recommend ‘Smart Audiobook Player’. If you wish to listen from your laptop or pc (hooked to output through stereo speakers gives a great range and volume, btw), then you need to get ‘Angel’s Vox’. It is only on Win systems but works through WINE perfectly. With an audiobook player you can start your book (with any number of different books separated and your place in them remembered individually) and set a sleep timer. The timer will stop the book after a set amount of time (I like to set 45 minutes, personally). With ‘Smart Audiobook Player’ you can set it to always turn off your book after a selected amount of time (only have to set the timer once, it counts down from the last time the device is moved every time you start a book). The volume will begin fading near the end and you have the option of shaking the device to continue listening as long as you are awake and wish to keep listening. Using an audiobook player, you will only have a small amount of time to search through after you wake up and the book will not continue playing all night.
